Saudi Arabia is one of the 60 eligible countries whose citizens may apply online for an NZeTA which allows multiple trips up to 90 days each, without having to apply for a visa.

The eTA New Zealand from Saudi Arabia can be easily requested online, enabling travellers to apply and receive an approved authorization to travel to NZ without leaving the comfort of their home or office.

Travellers from Saudia Arabia are suggested to apply for an eTA NZ at least 3 business days before their trip to allow for extra processing time, although most applications are screened and delivered within 1 business day.

The New Zealand eTA for Saudi Arabia is the most convenient travel authorization to enter NZ for short stays of up to 3 months. However, Saudi Arabian nationals who wish to stay longer in the country may alternatively request another type of tourist visa.

The NZeTA is mandatory even for people visiting New Zealand on cruise ships or in transit en route to another destination.

The NZeTA is valid for 2 years and can be used for multiple trips within that period. The eTA for NZ for Saudi Arabian citizens can be used for purposes of tourism or business travel.

Even the crew of airline or cruise lines is required to carry a valid New Zealand eTA upon their arrival to NZ. Crew eTAs are valid for 5 years. The employer is responsible to file the application.

The entire New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority process takes place online, from the NZeTA application form to its email delivery in PDF format.

The simple New Zealand eTA application requires some basic passport details as well as information about the purpose of travel and trip details. It is advised that applicants from Saudi Arabia complete the entire process for the New Zealand eTA for Saudi Arabians, at least 3 business days in advance of the trip to New Zealand, although it usually does not take over 24 hours.

How to apply for a New Zealand eTA from Saudi Arabia?

Once the New Zealand officials approve the application, the NZ visa waiver is sent to the email address that was provided on the application.

Travellers should bring a printed version of their eTA on their trip. The authorities might accept a digital version, but it is best to always carry a printed copy just in case.
